PC loses HDMI audio device when changing resolution. For example, when you try to start the game(changing resolution), to not find the audio device, it fails to start. It does not occur in 15.45.19.4678. OS: Windows 10 Home Version: 1703 Build: 15063.540 System Model: ECS LIVA Z(N4200) System Type: x64-based PC Processor: Intel® Apollo Lake Pentium® N4200 SOC Driver: 15.46.02.4729 and 15.46.05.4771 Display Model: Toshiba REGZA Z2000 (HDMI connection.) Thanks.

Hello nanitaro,

I understand HDMI audio works fine with graphics driver 15.45.19.4678, but not with graphics drivers 15.46.02.4729 and 15.46.05.4771.

Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.

In order to help you better please attach the DxDiag. In order for you to generate the file Click on the "Start Menu" -> Type "DxDiag" -> Press "Enter" -> Wait for the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to finish loading -> In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, click "Save All Information" -> Save the file DxDiag.txt

Are you connecting the computer directly to the Toshiba REGZA Z2000 display?

Regards,

Hello nanitaro,

Thanks for the information you sent to me.

I found out on our internal database that this is a known issue (regression issue), and it is being worked on right now. Our internal bug ID is 1406394362.

At this moment as a workaround what I can recommend is to keep using driver version 15.45.19.4678. Currently there is no estimated time about when the issue is going to be fixed.

Regards,
