We understand you're unable to detect to your wireless router using the Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 6150. Please bear in mind that this adapter has been discontinued and is no longer applicable for support.
Our main recommendation will be to make sure that you're using the latest drivers available for your adapter based on your operating system version. We recommend choosing the latest drivers provided by your computer manufacturer:

If these do not help, or you're using Windows® 10, you may test our latest generic driver for your adapter instead:

With both driver versions you should be able to implement our recommended settings for 802.11n connectivity:
- 802.11n Channel Width for 2.4GHz: 20 MHz (for stability), or Auto (for higher compatibility)
- 802.11n Channel Width for 5.2GHz: Auto
- 802.11n Mode: Enabled
- Fat Channel Intolerant: Disabled
- Roaming Aggressiveness: 1. Lowest
- Throughput Booster: Disabled
- Transmit Power: Highest
- Wireless Mode: 802.11a/b/g
While wireless standards are backward compatible, some newer routers are not so friendly towards legacy devices. Because of this we can recommend making sure that your router is using the latest firmware available:
If at this point you're still unable to connect, please test connecting to a different network to discard hardware issues, or contact Netgear* support for assistance from their end.
