Problem whit my throughput on teamed network

I have two PC’s whit an Intel gigabit ET dual port network card in. Both cards have their two ports teamed so windows report them as a 2Gbit connection, but I can only get them to send at 1Gbit between them, why? And is there anything I can do to get them to send whit 2Gbit speed between them?

I have tried different form of teaming (Static Link Aggregation, Adaptive Load Balancing and IEEE 802.3ad Dynamic Link Aggregation) but it’s the same.

I’ve tried to connect them through my switch a 3Com OfficeConnect Managed Gigabit Switch 8, and I have tried just to take the two cables and run them form PC to PC.

I’m running Vista sp2 64bit and Win 7 64bit on my PC’s and both PC’s use RAID so there shout not be a problem there.
