I can confirm this bug, too! After wake up from S3 the screen is full of flickering green lines. Only a hard power off helps.

I tried the manual installation already.

System: ASUS VivoMini UN65, i3-6100U (HDG 520), Windows 10 (x64, 1703)

I have the same issue. After resuming from sleep monitor is full of vertical lines and the screen flashes. Only hard power off and power on allows me to get back into windows.

trueblue did you download this driver from your computer manufacturer website or you download it from the Intel website?

If you downloaded the driver from the Intel website I suggest you to uninstall it and then reinstall it manually, please see how to https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows 8*/8.1*

When you uninstall the driver, disconnect the internet, this is to avoid Microsoft to send any update and do not restart the system and then install the driver manually, you can follow the steps from the link above.

You can download the driver zip file here:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26941/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-46-%3Fproduct%3D98909 Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.46]

Please let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Ivan U.

Did I download from my computer manufacturer? You must not be familiar with Lenovo support. They have not updated their "official" graphics driver for this laptop for a year. Nor do I expect any future updates. I've been using generic Intel drivers for a long time.

I had originally installed using the generic Intel .exe file, as I previously disabled Windows Updates for Lenovo's drivers, so the .exe previously installed just fine.

I just uninstalled (including a separate attempt using device uninstall with uninstalling drivers) and reinstalled using the manual .zip. Still have the same problem. Still goes away when I revert to 15.45.

I'm using the same device and have exactly the same problem.

Please let me know the following:

1. If you have a laptop, can you reproduce the issue using only the Local Flat Panel (LFP)? how about connecting an external display?

2. What kind of connection you have to the external display? (e.g. DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort, HDMI-to-HDMI, USB-C to DisplayPort)

3. Are you using any kind of adapter or converter?

4. Do you recall enabling/disabling any particular Windows feature? (e.g. Hyper-V).

5. Current Advanced Power Settings, particularly for Sleep, Power buttons and lid, Display and Intel Graphics Settings?

1. When I connect to an external display as either duplicate or extend, it works fine on a fresh boot. Close lid, sleep, wake, and the secondary display is getting a signal, but the screen is black. The LFP is also black. Only a forced reboot will fix.

2. I am using a USB-C to HDMI adapter to the external display.

3. No.

4. No.

5. See attachments.

Sorry for the cross post, but want to make sure everyone interested (and especially Intel) sees this.
