Intel NUC7i5BNH does not recognize wireless controller Ubuntu 14.04

Hi,

I just bought a NUC7i5BNH. I installed Ubuntu 14.04. Everything good except that it does not recognize wireless.

Details:

1. On Ubuntu 14.04, after boot, the network applet shows: " No network devices available".

2. The NUC wireless module is (according to Intel Specs): DualBand Wireless AC-8265.

3. I went to Intel support page, downloaded the latest driver (iwlwifi-8265-22.ucode), placed in /lib/firmware, no luck.

4. it seems that the wired network is not recognized either. when I run "ifconfig" I get this:

As we understand, your system is not recognizing the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 in your NUC. Here are a few pointers that can help with this:- The Intel® Wireless 8265 is supported since Linux Kernel version 4.6. Checking the information about Ubuntu 14.04 it uses an older kernel. Thank you for your support. It was very useful.

I updated the kernel to 4.6.0, and I found that such kernel supported the version 21 of the wifi driver.

I found that version in a repository, I placed it into /lib/firmware. Now the wifi is working.
