    Retro Games Emulator

I am trying to build a miniature retro games emulator using the Edison module. I need it to play SNES games (I will add support for more consoles as I become more proficient in this field). However, I don't know where to start. Can anyone help?

          Hello T1T4N,

Thank you for your interest in the Intel® Edison Breakout Board.

I think the best way to start is by checking this link:

Edidoom : Intel Edison based video game console playing Doom

In that site, the author provides a deep explanation on how to work around the fact that the Edison does not have a display, audio or game input hardware. It seems like a very similar project to the one you are working on.

            Hello Andres,

Thank you very much for the link. It seems like en excellent starting point for my project. I look forward to trying this as soon as my Edison module arrives.

            Kind regards,
