I can see on that website Dell has the version 220.127.116.117, that should be the proper one for your system.

Ok, these are the drivers that already are on my system. I would like to reinstall them to see if that fixes my problem.
My concerns are:
What might happen (break) if I reinstall the version 22.214.171.1247 IRST drivers?
Do I need to uninstall the current IRST drivers before I reinstall them?
Or can I reinstall over top of the current drivers?
Will these old IRST drivers from 2009\2011 really support the new hard drive from this year?
Is there any point in researching newer IRST drivers if he latest ones Dell has for the XPS 8100 are version 126.96.36.1997?
Intel® Rapid Storage Technology is mostly used if you have a RAID configured on your system; if you don’t have a RAID configured there is no need to have it installed.
Now, you have an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) system and the one offer by your computer manufacture is the proper one for your system because is the one compatible with your system chipset, if you try to install latest version we cannot guarantee that it will work properly specially because your system manufacturer may have customized your system to work especially for this version.
