I'm assuming that your Operating System (O.S.) is Windows 10. If yes, follow the following instructions:
1. Open Settings
2. Press on Update & Security
3. On left side press Troubleshoot.
4. Now, on the right side look for Bluetooth .
5. Press on Bluetooth and than on Run the troubleshooter.
6. Follow the instruction in the troubleshooter windows.
Hope your Bluetooth will be fixed
Thank you very much to lw1948 for the suggestion provided above.
RenzoT: Thank you very much for joining the Intel® NUC communities.
In order to try to fix this problem we can also try to re-install chipset and Bluetooth drivers:
Another option to try is to do a BIOS update to the latest version 0062, on the links below you will find the instructions of how to do that and the file needed:
Any further questions, please let me know.
Reset and reloaded windows and all the files above
No luck same problem
No troubleshoot option on LHS
Used advanced but didn;t solve the problem
Also upgraded to Alberto's information BIOS etc...and reset windows completely
RenzoT: Thank you very much for letting us know those results.
We will do further research on this subject.
Just to confirm, was the Bluetooth working fine before?
If that is the case, for how long?
Did you make any recent software changes?
Any questions, please let me know.
Yes, bluetooth worked for 10-15 min then freeze, so I purchased designer bluetooth keyboard and mouse with the same problem
I then updated the Intel drivers for the NUC via Intel site zip files and thats when the bluetooth option disappeared
I have now updated and re installed win 10 and have the icon for bluetooth in the settings window but still not fixed as I have in the properties window
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Nearly giving up hope
I checked this morning and freed up some memory to rid of old windows upgrade
I went to settings\update security and found troubleshoot option was now there and clicked troubleshoot\bluetooth which gave me the option to reinstall wireless bluetooth and I did so by clicking on apply this fix. I noted that the Device Manager windows indicated that the bluetooth icon was flashing 3sec to on and off and settling to off (code 10) after10 seconds or so This is the result of and Intel software upgrade to the NUC to fix the bluetooth issue in the first place
I'm glad that you have founded the Windows Troubleshooter and following my advice you have fixed the Bluetooth.
Had to upgrade windows for the option but still not resolved
Bluetooth not working code10
Microsoft says that it confirmed the Windows 10 Bluetooth issues with Broadcom and Realtek radio after Windows 10 Creators Update. This is a link to guide how to fix this problem: How to Fix Bluetooth Issues after Windows 10 Creators Update | Driver Talent
Hope that one of the method will help you
tried all the manual fixes a few times didn't opt for the last one to pay for one they haven't got
Still same issue but saw that Intel are working on a solution?
Still trying with this bluetooth issue
I have upgraded all the files in the full upgrade file at Intel for the NUC5PGYH
Ran the troubleshooter says ok for a bit then failed to start getting an error to load message for esrv.exe at startup
The Device manager window shows toggling between good and bad bluetooth icon then fixed on the error indication
Any bright ideas or specific information you need?
Hi RenzoT: Thank you for providing that information. In this case we will do further research on this matter in order to try to find a possible solution. As soon as I get any updates, I will post all the details on this thread.
Any questions, please let me know.
