Did the i5-3210M come with the laptop, or did you upgrade to the i5-3210M?

Besides providing the information requested by Al Hill, I just wanted to check if you got in contact with HP directly in regard to this problem?. The problem could be related to hardware, could be the power supply or the laptop itself, by getting in contact with HP they might be able to provide further troubleshoot steps to try in order to fix this problem like a BIOS update and also warranty assistance:
