Yesterday I installed Windows 10 Creator's Update on new NUC5i7RYH with a single Samsung S24E310HL monitor connected connected to the displayport via HDMI adaptor cable. All went well. Installed some software packages, did Windows updates, joined Windows domain, etc. At the close of business, I put the NUC in place of the user's old system, connected her existing Samsung S24E310HL monitor and the one I had used for the install to it. The one connected to the displayport still works fine, but the NUC does not detect the on on the HDMI port. The Intel video utility does not show this second monitor connected and I have swapped monitors with no joy.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this most welcome!
I was digging around here and found an HDMI to VGA adapter and connected the second monitor via it.
So, it appears I have a bad HDMI cable.
Sorry for the wasted bandwidth!
