hello everyone, I am having a problem with either my TV or my graphics card. I hooked my TV up to my tablet via HDMI, Intel HD Graphics Control Panel under Display detected the TV but for some reason i am not getting any picture on the TV, even though I have the TV set as the display. I am running Windows 10 on a SuperSonic 10.1' tablet. The TV is listed in the Intel Display program as Digital Television T23HLV85-MA. Can anyone help?

Hello Branbro,

I understand you are trying to connect a TV to your tablet, but you are not getting picture on the TV.

Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.

In order to help you better I would like to gather more information about the configuration you have in the computer. Please attach to this thread the .txt file the Intel® System Support Utility will generate https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility

Please also attach the Intel® Graphics Driver Report. This link will show you how to generate it https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005848.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005848.html

Are you using HDMI to HDMI cable?

Please run both reports with TV connected to the tablet.

To attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" on the upper right hand corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear on the bottom right hand corner of the response box.

Regards,

Here are the results of the SSU reports and the other info you needed. I included the results for when the TV was connected, and when the TV wasn't connected. Also I am using a Micro HDMI to HDMI cable that I just bought off of Amazon yesterday. It is Brand new.

Hello Branbro,

Thanks for the information you sent to me.

According to the reports you sent to me the graphics controller is properly recognizing the TV

I would like you to try updating the graphics driver. Please download the driver that is on this link https://downloadmirror.intel.com/25977/eng/win32_153343.4425.zip https://downloadmirror.intel.com/25977/eng/win32_153343.4425.zip

As soon as the driver has been downloaded install the graphics driver with the steps that are on this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY

Let me know if issue persists or not.

Regards,

okay so i updated the driver. And the Intel HD Graphics center in still recognizing the TV but when i went into the control panel under Display, Windows 10 is not detecting a 2nd display, so i am wondering if maybe my TV is not supported. I go to Detect under Display and it says it doesn't detect a 2nd monitor. So i think it is a problem with Windows 10 not Intel Display driver. But I don't understand how Intel HD Graphics center can detect the TV but not Windows 10. Can you help me with this or do i have to go to the Microsoft website for support on this issue? Sorry about the duplicate post but i just saw the comment button.

Hello Branbro,

I am sorry to hear the issue persists after updating graphics driver.

I would like you to try using different display mode. In order to change display mode open Intel Graphics Control Panel -> Display -> Multiple Displays -> Select Display Mode, set the system to either Single Display or Clone Displays or Extended Desktop. Please check if issue happens or not in all of these display modes.

If possible try different monitor/TV as well.

Regards,
