          Hello Kannan.v,

Thank you for contacting Intel Communities.

          The Intel® NUC offers:

          • Different system configurations to choose from.
          • All of them come with built-in features (graphics, processor, wireless/Bluetooth) only requiring storage drive and memory (RAM).
          • Some are plug & play and ready to go (already include the RAM & storage (eMMC)
          • Comes in a very small form factor.

The primary downside is that you won't be able to install discrete devices (video cards, sound cards, etc.) unless you connect these devices externally (via Thunderbolt/USB-C) such as the Intel® NUC Kit NUC6i7KYK.

You can check the following links for further information:

As for using your Android device as a monitor, if you are referring to an Android based Smart TV, you should be able to use it depending on the video inputs the TV has (HDMI, DP, etc.).

I hope to hear from you soon.

          Best Regards,
          Juan V.
