On Linux, running
xrandr --output HDMI1 --set audio force-dvi
solves many issues on my eternal monitor. It fixes overscan, as well as increasing brightness to a reasonable level and significantly increases display clarity. The external monitor I am using has absolutely no configuration options, so that isn't an option. Is there a way to achieve similar results to the command above using the Intel Graphics Driver on Windows?

Hello linux_overuser,
I understand you are having overscan and brightness issues on Windows*.
Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.
In order to help you better I would like to gather more information about the configuration you have in the computer. Please attach to this thread the .txt file the Intel® System Support Utility will generate https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility
Please let me know the model number of the monitor.
Just to clarify, are you using HDMI to DVI adapter?
To attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" on the upper right hand corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear on the bottom right hand corner of the response box.
Regards,
Fred D.

The SSU file is attached.
The monitor in question is an HP Touchsmart 600 all-in-one that I am using on HDMI in mode as a monitor. I am not using an HDMI to DVI adapter, I am simply stating that on Linux, forcing DVI compatibility mode on the HDMI port allows the monitor to function properly. As far as i'm aware, there is no such equivalent to this functionality on Windows using the Intel driver.

Hello linux_overuser,
Thanks for the information you sent to me.
I would like you to try updating the graphics driver. Please download it from this link https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26682/eng/win64_154034.4624.zip https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26682/eng/win64_154034.4624.zip
As soon as the driver has been downloaded install it using the steps that are on this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY
If issue persists try changing Scaling options on the Intel Graphics Control Panel. Please use the steps that are on the attached screenshot.
