You mentioned you updated the firmware of the NUC, the latest BIOS version is 0046, just to confirm, is that the BIOS version currently installed on the NUC?
We can try to re-install the latest version of the Intel® graphics driver,4664:
And we can also re-install the chipset and management engine drivers as well:

I did the steps you mentioned and it looks like its OK now.
Strange as I had updated the drivers previously.
I have only had a chance to test the system for a few minutes. I will post again if it remains an issue.
