I have a couple of hard disks (Samsung 10GB and Seagate 20GB) both locked with a password. When I connect either of them to my PC, I get the error "Primary Master hard disk error. Press F4 to continue" and then it goes to setup screen. In the IDE setup screen, I can see the hard drive but, I can't see it in the boot device priority screen. I have tried the tools like ATAPWD, mHDD, hdunlock, Seatools and none of them were able to recognize the drive. I read in a couple of forums that this happens only in Intel motherboards. I have the password and I just need to unlock it. My motherboard is Intel D845GLLY. Any idea?
is this primary master hard disk holding the windows operating system?
try removing other harddisk and try to zero in
