Aftermarket coolers can work better than stock coolers, so why does using one void the warranty on your processor?

Thank you for contacting the Intel community.
In this case, the stock cooler is the one recommended by Intel because it was tested with the specific processor but if you decide to buy a different cooler to cool down your system even more that does not void the Intel® processor warranty.
Please bear in mind that this applies only for box units.
