i have 17 6800 k comp and im a total newb so pls forgive me in adv many issues but first off i can't get turbo max boot to work tried installing and reinstalling just keeeps saying no drivers found now my overclocking is not working have msi x99a tomahawk

The Intel® turbo boost 2.0 works automatically, depending on the load of work or the processes running in the background the processor itself chooses when to activate it. On the links below you will find further information about that feature:

There might be a setting on the BIOS to activate it, in that case the best thing to do will be to get in contact with MSI directly to find out if that is the case or if a BIOS update is needed. We normally recommend to set the BIOS at default values for the processor to work properly:

In regard to the overclocking, altering clock frequency or voltage may damage or reduce the useful life of the processor and other system components, and may reduce system stability and performance and it is not cover under warranty, that is why we recommend to use the processor at stock configurations:
