In regard to your inquiry, I just wanted to let you know that I tested the tool on the Intel® NUC7i3BNH and the tool worked just fine. However, I also tested the tool on the Intel® NUC6i7KYK and I got the same error, I was using latest BIOS 0046 and Windows® 10-64 bit:
So, I will do further research on this matter in order to try to find out what might be the reason why it is not detecting the board on the Intel® Skull Canyon. As soon as I get any updates, I will post all the details on this thread.

First of all, thank you very much for reporting this issue, we really appreciate that.
We have done some investigation and there is a programming error in BIOS on NUC6i7KYK that is causing this error; it will be fixed in the next BIOS release, scheduled for the end of July.
