Hardware graphic acceleration

I installed a game and the game asks for hardware graphic acceleration.I have the latest intel hd graphics for my laptop and have tried reinstalling it. It still does not work any idea what is the problem?

Sounds like the "Microsoft basic display adapter" is active instead of the Intel driver.

Check that in Intel control panel, DXDIAG or device manager.

To attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" on the upper right hand corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear on the bottom right hand corner of the response box.
