You're right, sorry, model number: SVP1322C5E
Windows 8.1, 64 bits, 8Mo Ram
Some web discussions talk about the drivers for the graphic card, others talk about the memory (RAM) dedicated to the card graphic...
For many days, I'm been triying to find the solution
Thanks a lot for triyng to help me!!!
Joselito1966, thanks for the clarification.
According to the specification I found, your computer meets the minimum requirements, at this stage we will have to look deeper into this issue. So, please respond to the following;
- Is there any chance you can take a picture of the crash you get?
- Could you please let us know the driver version you are running? Please go to Device Manger> Display adapters> Intel(R) HD Graphics right click on Properties and then go to Driver, you will be able to see the version installed.
- Use the SketchUp bug report in order to let them know what is happening.
I found the following link; https://forums.sketchup.com/t/important-update-on-a-few-potential-sketchup-2017-issues-on-windows/40186 from SketchUp, over there the support is acknowledging some issues with SketchUp 2017 and Windows, please take a look at it.
1/ Concerning the crash (when I try to open SketchUp)
Which send to me to the link you've posted (talking about graphic card and drivers)
2/ Concerning the graphic card and drivers
I've tried to update the drivers but any of different packs availables on the Intel site could run in my computer
I also loaded and run the Intel Update Drivers program, without any success
3/ I currently work with SketchUp 2016 w/o any problem
Thanks a lot again for your help
Thanks for the details.
Then let's try a different installation method, .4624 is the latest driver available find it here; Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.40] and use this method for the installation; Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows... .This method should ensure the installation of the driver.
Please let me know how it goes.
