1. Re: I installed chipset intel but forgot to restart my PC, will that lead to unstability/bugs/worse productivity/bad outcome later?

Thank you for contacting Intel Communities.
You shouldn't have any issues as most of the times you are asked to "restart now" or "restart later", if you choose to restart later, the installation will be completed after the system reboots.
In other words, you shouldn't worry if the system wasn't restarted right away.
Please don't hesitate in contacting us back if you need further assistance.
Regards,
JC

MaxRideWizardLord Apr 25, 2017 9:43 AM (in response to Intel Corporation)some people say that not restarting PC after installation, and especially installing other drivers BEFORE restarting PC may cause some issues. Is that true?

Moreover, if you are not currently having issues even when you didn't restart the computer at that time, it confirms that there isn't any problem.
You can also take a look at this thread from SuperUser.

MaxRideWizardLord May 11, 2017 11:39 AM (in response to Intel Corporation)Please look at this thread I made a while back - I installed chipset intel but forgot to restart my PC, will that lead to unstability/bugs/worse productivity/bad outcome…
Looks like some people are still making "error-proof algorithm" which at least makes me a bit anxious. Why do people need a "error-proof algorithm" if installing drivers is absolutely flawless and no error can accure, like you said?

In the thread that you shared, Gaston refers to Sergey's set of steps as the error-proof algorithm and it is only his personal way to install updates. People have different ways to go over this, and those steps are just one of them.
Once again, if you haven't experienced any issues by not restarting the system at that time, you shouldn't worry about.
