Samsung 960 Evo's are PCIe (NVMe), so they're not handled by the iaStorAC / iaAHCIC driver(s). That is why they do not show up in the Intel Rapid Storage Technology management software.
I have an ASUS B250M-C with an Intel 600p 128GB PCIe NVMe SSD powered up here, and the same is true.
NVMe devices are handled by the Standard NVMe controller in Windows, or, in your case, I believe you can use the Samsung NVMe Driver listed on this page: http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools.html

That is correct, the NVME is installed in PCIe and not AHCI, I hope the driver provided by Gize2 can help you better with this SSD.
If you need to install the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology, I suggest you to download the one recommended from your computer manufacturer website as it is the proper one for your system.
