New Dell Laptop with Intel HD 520 video does not support Blender (3d software). Dell site drivers are not supporting either. When can I obtain the OpenGL drivers 2.0 or greater for this card?

Hello bfrakes256:

To answer your question, the laptop is working with Intel® HD Graphics 520, the driver for that graphics controller supports OpenGL 4.4, so, you just need to install the latest graphics driver available on Dell's web site or in our web site and you should be able to use Blender (3d software), here you can confirm that information:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26604/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-Beta-15-45-?product=88355 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26604/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-Beta-15-45-?product=88355

And on the following link you will find the latest graphics drivers for your graphics controller:

Beta 4614:

Or driver 4590:

We always recommend to install the graphics driver provided by the manufacturer of the laptop, on the following link you will be able to look for the graphics drivers provided by Dell, choose the option that says drivers at the bottom and enter the model of your laptop:

Any further questions, please let me know.
