We regret to inform you that what you're doing is not supported. More than likely, what you're experiencing are compatibility issues.

- Why Doesn't My Laptop Recognize My New Intel® Wireless Adapter?
If your wireless adapter has been properly installed and is compatible, you will simply need two drivers. The PROSet Wireless Software/Drivers package will install drivers for both your wireless and WiGig modules. The PROSet for Bluetooth* package will take care of the Bluetooth* module driver. No additional effort should be required, aside from perhaps applying our recommended wireless connectivity settings, but that would be entirely optional.
In cases like these, we recommend contacting your computer manufacturer to find out if the Intel® Tri-Band Wireless-AC 18260 has been verified and approved for your computer model.
