Hello Ringos,

Replacing the antenna for your wireless adapter may be subject to country specific legal regulations similar to those ruling the replacement of wireless adapters:

- https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005687.html Regulatory Information Regarding Wireless Hardware Installation or Upgrade.

Our best recommendation will be to contact your computer manufacturer (OEM) for further information, and if possible, the replacement part.

"In the USA, Canada, EU, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan end-users are not authorized to replace wireless antennas because these countries regulate the antenna, which must be certified together with the adapter. For all other countries, the end-user may use a replacement antenna of their choice assuming they use the same type, and the same or lower antenna gain. Intel® recommends contacting the manufacturer, vendor, or place of purchase about availability and support for Intel® Wireless Adapter upgrades. Laptop manufacturers must meet regulatory requirements to determine if the Intel® Wireless Adapter or antenna can be installed in your system."

We hope this information helps.

Best regards,

Carlos A.
