I was testing this unit to see if I get the same behavior but I did not experience this problem.
At this point I suggest you the following:
Download the latest Intel® graphics driver, you can download it here:
Uninstall the Intel® graphics driver and the sound driver from device manage, it does not matter if you already have the latest drivers installed still uninstall the one you already have installed, once you do that disconnect the internet and do not restart the system, now install the latest graphics driver, please bear aware that the Intel® graphics driver also includes the sound driver, so both drivers will be install when you install the graphics driver.
If this does not solve this issue, then I suggest you to try with different HDMI cable.
