i have the Intel SSD 600p which supports NVMe 1.2 but it doesn't have RPMB support,

Is there any Intel SSD that supports RPMB as part of NVMe 1.2?

Thanks,

Yaniv

Hello YanivN,

We performed a quick research, but were unable to find any information on our current solid state drives and Replay Protected Memory Block support. It is very possible that only some eMMC* flash devices may currently support this type of hardware partition.

We will look further into your question and update your thread once we find a more solid response for you.

Best regards,

Hello YanivN,

We're happy to inform you that we have been able to confirm with our engineering team that all of our solid state drives support RPMB within the Linux* Kernel.

Here are some relevant articles that cover this topic:

Hi Carlos

I didn't see the follow up until today,

Please note that the links you have provided refer to SW support in the host side,

my question was related to the HW support, i.e. Intel SSD card which implements and supports the RPMB protocol, therefore this doesn't help me much.

Regards,

Yaniv

Hello YanivN,

Hardware wise there are no Intel® SSDs currently supporting RPMB. This is a feature intended for mobile consumer devices, while our solid state drives are geared towards pc/laptop, workstation, and server applications.
