Hello, I'm having trouble addressing an overscan issue with Intel(R) HD Graphics on 10.18.10.4425 driver. The isn't an option to set custom resolution and when I tried to run custommodeapp.exe nothing shows up. Can you please advice how can I set the resolution to be 1820x1024? Thank you.

Hello smnl,
Thank you for contacting the Intel community.
According with the graphics report you posted this monitor you have do not support this resolution, you can see below the resolution supported on the graphics report you posted.
You can check the user manual or technical documents for your display, using the Custom Resolutions/Modes feature requires knowledge of your monitor's supported timing standards and parameters. See your monitor manufacturer for information.
However, you can try installing the latest Intel® generic driver, you can download it here:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25977/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-33-?v=t https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25977/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-33-?v=t
If you get an error installing this driver, try uninstalling the old driver first and then install this driver manually.
Please see http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html Uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel® Display and how to http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows 8*/8.1*
If it does not work, check with your monitor manufacturer on availability of an updated .INF file or monitor driver and make sure you are not using any adapters and a high quality HDMI cable.
I hope this can help.
Regards,
Ivan.

Hello Ivan,
I tried using a separate computer with Intel HD Graphics 520 (driver 20.19.15.4444) to connect to the same TV, and I was able to change the Underscan Percentage setting to 1820x1024, which displayed correctly on the TV. Thus, I can rule out it's a problem with the TV itself.
I am already using the .4425 driver.
Can you suggest why doesn't CustomModeApp.exe load?
Thanks.

Do you get this option when you access the Intel® Graphics Control Panel? Similar like this:
Custom Resolutions can be found either in older drivers with older versions of CUI using the CustomModeApp.exe or in more recent CUI versions it is built into the CUI.
If nothing works, I would say it could be a limitation from the specific device you are using, have you checked with the OEM?
Ivan.

Thank you for following up. No, I don't have that "Custom Resolutions" option in my Graphics Control Panel.
Is there an older version of the driver that I should try?
