We understand you would like to update the firmware and install the most updated driver for your Intel® SSD 750 series. The links you refer to are the correct links, also, we'd like to let you know that you can use the Intel® Solid-State Drive Toolbox works as well to update the firmware on it.

The installation of the NVMe* driver should work fine; however, we can see that the system is still using the Windows* driver. Since you have tried the installation already, we do recommend you to please follow the steps on this link, page 10.
