The development environment for building coreboot will be Ubuntu 16.04.
The embedded environment will initially be the Oxbow Hill Customer Reference Board (CRB) from Intel.
When one does a checkout of the coreboot source code, the Oxbow Hill CRB is not listed among the supported main boards. My question was wether it would be added to the supported main boards in future.
You can refer to Appolo Lake Dashboard below:
Kindly go to slide 18 for supported OS and Ubuntu actually not listed as support OS.
There is no plan yet so far to support Ubuntu OS for now. You can contact your local FAE if you need to submit a feature request.
Lastly, this community forum is actually meant for IOTG Gateway WindRiver (MoonIsland) support which you actually submitted your question into the wrong queue. In future, please enter a case in Intel Premier Support for OxboxHill related question.
Intel Customer Support
Joseph, I am new to this forum. I have the Oxbow Hill CRB and I am having problems trying to install an OS on the device. I tried to see the slides that you mentioned above to see what flavor of linux or windows I can install on our eval board but when I clicked on the link above it indicates that I cannot access the resource. Where can I get help to install an OS on this board, we want to evaluate the GPU performance so the OS is not particularly important provided it has support for accelerated GPU support.
Thanks in advance
