"Not supported" in the sense of will not use the memory modules' ECC functionality or does not even boot with ECC memory?
It is my understanding that this question does NOT have three possible answers:
- YES, but the memory will operate as NON-ECC
It is either a YES or NO answer, again as I understand it.

It will not work at all with ECC memory installed.
Of course it is, even though for many PC applications there is more reason for ECC (getting a chance of getting to know the RAM's reliablity) than for non-ECC (a little bit better performance).
Nobody wants to suffer from random bit flips in their files after they stayed in memory.
