My company has a few older computers and thier processors run consistently between 25-40% with higher spikes. Will that significantly slow them down or bog down thier system?

- A virus would do that.
- A bad anti-malware product would also do that.
- Badly fragmented disks.
- A poorly written app.
If your company has "a few" computers performing the same way, their IT guy needs to look at the above possibilities first. It is unlikely that multiple computers would all have the same processor issue.
Once the above are checked, then report back with:
- Processor model
- OS version
- Other pertinent information

Hi,
Yes, please follow instructions Doc has listed.
Here is another way you can search for your computer hardware information
Please run the following utility and attach the results.
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility Intel® System Support Utility
In order to attach files, make sure you select the "Advanced Editor" option in the top right of your reply window. You will then be presented with an attach file dialogue at the bottom of the reply.
