How to disable "Display Power Saving Technology" for the plugged in laptop?

    Santst

Hello!:) Read several treads. Quite a few people have this issue, however couldn't find a solution to my one.

I turned it off in the Intel® HD Graphics Control Panel. While the laptop is running on battery, its fine. But the Display Power Saving Technology starts working again once the laptop is plugged in (I don't have an option in the Intel control panel to switch between battery and plugged-in modes). I updated drivers (used windows device manager, because the Intel(R) Driver Update Utility was not able to do so). Here is my info:

      Windows 10 Pro

      Lenovo yoga book

Cry for help: you cant even imagine how annoying it is to sit in a room full of light having a white page on the word doc open - and still get a very low brightness level. Please help!
