I was using my computer a few days ago and I received a BSOD. Once this occurred i was no longer able to boot into windows, the system just kept throwing BSOD. I did extensive troubleshooting and determined that it was either the motherboard or the CPU that was causing the issue. I purchased a new z170X - Gaming 7 from gigabyte and the issue still occurred. (i was also unable to reinstall windows from a usb drive). I then purchased a new i7-6700k and put it into the new board and i was able to boot into windows without any issues. The CPU was purchased January 2016.
What options do I have?
