I would try HP support, or Microsoft support for this issue.
But, some basic questions:
- Is the TV set for HDMI input? If the TV has more than one HDMI input, are you using the correct one?
- Is the laptop set to output to the HDMI port? This is usually accomplished by a function key sequence.
- Does the TV display "no signal" when you have verified the two questions above?
- What graphics do you have? If you do not know, provide the complete processor model number.
Thanks for the help i ran all the software updates for windows and my laptop to find out it is the tv that is the problem.
