Hello All

I've a Problem. Last time when i scope the game the crash sometimes (2-3 times). Most the game crashed without a bluescreen.

But yesterday i had a bluescreen. Otherwise the game run good. And other games like battlefield 1 i have no problems (with bluescreens).

Dump File (read with WhoCrashed)

I read a problem about firmware from SSD, but is actually.

I do sfc /scannow and chkdsk and no problem.

My System

OS: Windows 10 64Bit (1607)

MB: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming

Proc: I7 6700K

Grafic: MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8GB (Driver: 376.33)

RAM: 16GB

Drives: Samsung SSD EVO 256GB (for OS) and WD Green WD20EZRX 2TB.

Any solutions?

Thx and greetings

Hello Algazanth,

I have found some links that could help you with this issue, it seems related to drivers or firmware issues.

This is related to iastor.sys driver which is in the Intel AHCI controller, what it recommends is removing the driver and using the generic driver.

This is related to BIOS and firmware updates:

Finally, this is probably one that you have already read, since it also mentions the SSD related driver.

Hope this can be of help for you

Hi Esteban

Thx for your answer.

I take a look in the device manager. My driver by Intel AHCI controlle is the standard, not the iastor.sys. Maybe this would changed last time.

The firmware from my ssd (Samsungs EVO 840 256GB) are up to date.

I think all of my driver are up to date. But i will check this. And maybe a bios updat.

Thx
