          Hello Leshia,

          Thank you for your question.

Usually the FN+(F8,F10,F11, or even F12) combinations can sometimes be used on laptops to enable or disable the wireless radio.

However, not all connectivity issues directly relate to your wireless adapter being turned off. In order to better assist you, we'd like to have some information:

          - What is the brand and model of your computer?
          - Which operating sytem are you using? (ie. Windows* 7 Home Basic, 32 or 64-bit)
          - Could you please provide us with a more detailed description of the issue? For example, are you able to see wireless networks, but fail to connect? Or maybe you can't detect any wireless networks altogether?
          - Where you able to connect before?
          - Have you recently made any changes to your system?

We look forward to hearing back from you.

          Kind regards,
          Carlos A.

              Hello Leshia,

From the specifications page for your laptop we're unable to determine which wireless adapter comes preinstalled on your system. We can see that it will be either an Intel® adapter, Atheros*, or Realtek*.

To find out which is installed, you'll need to open the Control Panel > Device Manager > Network Adapters

If you see any devices named "Intel(R) [Centrino(R), Wireless, WiFi, or Dual Band Wireless] ...":

              - Toshiba* Satellite* P850 (PSPKBA-04P00U) Software & Drivers > Filter by: Network.

              1. Download Intel® Wireless Drivers, save it to a known location.
              2. In Control Panel > Device Manager > Network Adapters, right click on the Intel® {WIRELESS ADAPTER MODEL} and Uninstall it. Make sure you mark the option to "Delete the driver software for this device".
              3. Remove temporary files: Press the Windows* Key + R to open the run box. Type Cleanmgr.exe. Press OK. Select the main drive, usually "C:\". Check Temporary Files and uncheck everything else. Press OK.
              4. Install the latest Intel® Wireless driver.

If you do not see an Intel® Wireless Adapter, but you do see another brand adapter (Atheros*, or Realtek*), you will need to contact your computer manufacturer's support team for further assistance.
