It seems like you have already decided on a cpu - the g6950.
However, you can only use a processor that is supported by the bios of the motherboard you choose. So, if your motherboard choice is the ASUS P7H55-PRO, you will need to ask ASUS which processors are supported by the bios of the P7H55-PRO.
Or, you can look at the ASUS site for your board and supported cpus. I could not find your specific board, but I did find this one, as an example:
So, your next step is to go to the manufacturer of your board and check for supported processors there.
