Hhmmm, what kind of driver are you talking about. The version number you gave is for Windows itself, not a driver.
First of all, don't use the Intel Driver Update Utility; let's just say: it has problems.
The latest chipset software (INF update) for the G41 chipset can be downloaded from here: Download INF Update Utility for Intel® 6, 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets. Install this first.
The latest available graphics driver for the G41 chipset and Windows 7 32-bit can be downloaded from here: Download Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver.
Hope this helps,
Thanks for the quick response.
The first link was no problem
The second link I had the same fail as when I tried installing from HP
"This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"

Could you please post your Intel® Graphics Controller, you can follow the steps how to get it here:
Also you can post the DxDiag:
- Click on the “Start Menu” -> Type “DxDiag” -> Press “Enter” -> Wait for the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to finish loading
- In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, click “Save All Information” -> Save the file DxDiag.txt
- Include DxDiag.txt as an attachment in the Intel Community Forum
Thanks for your help guys. The issue is now resolved. I downloaded a freeware driver checker/updater.
It found and updated 7 Intel drivers and all is well now.
