The Intel® Aero Vision Accessory Kit includes the Intel® RealSense™ Camera R200, an 8MP RGB camera, a VGA camera, and associated cables. This document covers how to properly connect the Intel RealSense Camera R200 to the Intel Aero Compute Board.

      Warning:

Incorrectly connecting   the camera to the Aero Compute board can damage the camera and/or the board.

The interface for the Intel RealSense Camera is the female connector shown below on the right, next to the power button.

The Intel RealSense Camera cable is very similar looking on both sides. It’s important to connect the camera cable with the top view facing upwards. See images below.

      Note:

The cable should slide   into the socket smoothly with minimal force.  Incorrectly connecting the camera cable or   applying excessive force can damage the camera and/or the Aero Compute Board.    Such damage would not be covered by the product   warranty.
