audio in wmp 12 garbled

(solved) The IDT app and driver combo fixed the problem. I have an Intel S975XBX2 workstation MB with, evidently a Sigma Tel audio chipset, running the Sigma Tel HD audio codec for 64 bit windows. After I upgraded the system to win 7 ult. 64 bit the audio on playback is garbled. It's like its way too slow. The driver is 5.10.5143.0 from Sigma Tel dated 7/27/2006. I did not install this driver manually, and the device manager says the device is working properly. BTW thats my only sound device. Thanks in advance. Bill Smith
