    nuc5cpyh for LinuxLite 3.2

    itjon

I recently acquired a nuc5cpyh. I have tried to prepare an usb stick with the recommended firmware update ‘issdfut_2.1.6’ using the Rufus tool, however it does not like the boot menu is responding to my input. My intention is to use the unit to get familiar with the recent LinuxLite 3.2. Anybody who can provide advice or a recommended checklist?

          Hello itjon,

Thank you for contacting the Intel community.

Intel hasn't validated these operating systems with this unit but we have reports by owners of Intel® NUC Boards and Kits that Linux* Mint* is compatible, except for this recent LinuxLite 3.2, we have not received reports.
We recommend you use the latest kernel. If you need assistance with Linux* on Intel NUC, check your distro's website and forums for peer assistance.

Or you can wait to see if somebody else has been able to install and use this version of Linux without problem and they may share the information for us on this post.
