Laptop: Asus

GPU: iris pro 5200 + 960M

Basic res: 1980 1080

So before i reinstalled the windows i played cs go with no bb on 1280x960. So if I go to intel cont panel and set the res to 1280x960 and also puted to scall full screen . And after that i go back to basic res full hd and back to 1280 960 the full screen option is not saved it goes back to mantain aspect ratio. Before the windows reinstall that option will save automatically.

So i need a fix for this saveing isue ...

I also saved a list with services that i disabled maybe there is one that stopes intel saving this options.

Hello STEFAN- ,

First, I would like to verify what is the issue you are getting.

Here is the scenario I understood:

-You play CS GO, so in order to play it you set resolution to 1280x960 and used "Scall to Full Screen" setting

-Then went back to Windows and set the res to 1920x1080 with "maintain aspect ratio" but this setting is not being saved

Please let me know if that is correct.

Additionally, in order to better assist you, I require some important information from your system, which can be gathered up with the Intel SSU, here I add the instructions on how you can use it to provide me with the info required:

-Access: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility

-Download the utility

-Scan your system with the utility

-Export the report (hit next and then save) and attach it (the .xml file) to your answer with the advanced editor option (reply button and then check upper right corner)

Regards,

I found it

You can manuallly change scaling from registery, and by doing this in a batch file. The specified path for this is:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration\%display Key%\00\00\

"Scaling"=dword:3

There must be multi %display Key% exist, you should find out the one you are using. This is easy, you can delete all keys first, and then change your current monitor's setting. There will be a new key automatically created and that's your display. Below is the scaling value options:

2: Center Image

3: Full Screen should be set

4: Maitain Aspect Ratio

Hello STEFAN-,

Thank you for sharing the workaround used!

I am glad to hear you were able to configure this with the resolution desired.

In case you have any further inquiries, feel free to reach us again.

Disclaimer: Intel does not grant credit or support the registry changes done with this workaround since it can harm your system.

Regards,
