I have an Intel NUC6i7KYK and I would like to ask if it supports a unified virtual memory between the CPU and the integrated graphics chip Iris Pro 580. Is there a common page fault mechanism between the CPU and the GPU of the board?
Thank you in advance.
Let me see what I can find out.
Please keep us posted cvare
Really appreciate the quick response.
Alright, here's what I've found, took a bit to get an answer.
Yes, KY does support OpenCL 2.0's Fine-Grained Buffer SVM (Shared Virtual Memory) capabilities, which enables cache-coherent, same-virtual-address, memory sharing between CPU and GPU.
Thank you for the answer provided, cvare!
