Did the system worked fine before and then failed or you have this issue from the beginning?
If the issue started after a while of using your computer, do you remember making any changes in Windows or something similar?
Is the latest BIOS version you have installed 0042? If yes, try to access the BIOS and once you’re there press F9 on your keyboard to set the BIOS to defaults and then press F10 to save all changes and restart the system.
If the problem persists try uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics driver.
- Follow the steps on Uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel® Display Audio HDMI Driver. Make sure you uninstall both drivers.
- Reinstall the latest Intel Graphics Driver. The Intel Display Audio HDMI Driver is included in the download and is automatically installed as well.

Yes, I have the latest BIOS 0042.
I shall try these steps.
It works fine with Ubuntu 16.10.
Thank you, this seems fixed now.
It was fixed by reinstalling the graphics driver from device manager. All other settings were as you indicated though the XMP RAM profile works fine, too.
