X3370 on Intel DG45ID

Hello, good morning, I have a motherboard intel DG45ID which is enabled to use the Intel X3360 processor.

I was looking at the model X3370 and see who has the same basic features (TDP, Bus, Socket) than the X3360.

Can it work in my motherboard although not on the list of supported processors?

Thank you Uzorro.

As you already know, the x3370 is not on the list of compatible processors for your board:

http://processormatch.intel.com/Processors/CompatibleProcessors?componentName=DG45ID Compatible Processors

A comparison of the two processors:

In my opinion, you do not get that much more by upgrading to an x3370.

Will the x3370 work? It might, might not, might have sporadic errors, or might even damage your board.

Again, in my opinion, if it is not on the list of compatible processors, do not use it.

Also, both the processor and motherboard are well out of support.

Hello:

Thank you very much to Al Hill for the information posted previously.

To Uzorro:

I just wanted to confirm the above information as correct, if the processor is not listed as compatible, in that case we do not recommend to use it.

Any other inquiry, do not hesitate in contact us again.

Regards
