Hello,

To answer your question, yes we can help you addressing the issue with the fans running at full speed. Our recommendation is updating the firmware to the latest version available, that will enhance communication between the board and all the components:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26362/Intel-Server-Board-S2600WT-BIOS-and-Firmware-Update-for-EFI?product=82156 Intel® Server Board S2600WT BIOS and Firmware Update for EFI

Instructions can be found here:

Download the latest firmware for Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) from support site.

Unzip the package and copy all files to a folder on a USB drive formatted as FAT32

Insert USB device to server/workstation USB port.

Boot Server to EFI shell by pressing F6.

Run command map -r in EFI shell to map USB device.

Run command fs0: to change folder to USB device. USB device can also map to fs1:. The number of the fs# is dependent on the result of command map -r.

Change folder to the folder storing the firmware package.

Run command startup.nsh to start updating all the firmware and BIOS.

Select option # 1 " update SDR only" when prompted a menu of five options for the FRUSDR update portion.
