Please make sure you are using straight video cables, the usage of adapters may cause issues when trying to get an image with HDMI or Display Port monitors.
Update to the latest video drivers:
Let me know your findings.
I am using straight cables. One mDP to DP and One HDMI to HDMI.
This just happened again, overnight the machine has sat and the display connected via HDMI wakes up.
I will pull the HDMI cable.
Pulling HDMI cable resulted in monitor connected via DP continuing to say DISPLAYPORT NO SIGNAL.
Power cycled monitor by unplugging the power.
Plugged monitor in.
Display came up.
Plug HDMI cable back in.
Both panels work again.
Now.... do I say this is a faulty monitor? This behavior doesn't exist in Ubuntu, suggesting a driver issue.
For now I will set the display to never turn off, and just power it off manually. I will report back in 24 hours.
