Is there any other way to specify the data routing from 3G when the WAN is down.

Currently I'm using Wind River IDP 2.0.

When the system is operational with ETH0 connected to internet & also 3G internet Connection, and if ETH0 is disconnected the Data does not get routed automatically.

      # ping 8.8.8.8,

      pass successfully when ETH0 Connected

      # ping 8.8.8.8,

      fails when ETH0 disconnected

      # ip route add default via

<IP ADDR> dev 3g-wwan, (Changing the default route via 3G manually)

      # ping 8.8.8.8,

pass successfully through 3G Connection though ETH0 is down

Each time to monitor manually and executing this route add default command to add a route for 3G is not efficient, is there any other way wherein we can specify the data routing from 3G when the WAN is down.

      Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

      Cheers,

      Tony
