I’d love to help you with that. Personally, I think that the best way to do this is using an IoT Cloud, there is a lot of them so you can use whatever you want that adjusts more to your needs.
Normally we use Intel® IoT Analytics (https://dashboard.us.enableiot.com/ui/auth#/login), so if you want to use this cloud I recommend you to check this guide: https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-iot-platforms-getting-started-cloud-analytics.
Like you said that you are new with the Edison you can look at these helpful links:
Getting started guide: https://software.intel.com/en-us/get-started-edison-linux
I hope you find this information helpful and good luck with your project.
Really thanks about your help, Leonardo.
I'll check these stuffs. But I cannot find how can I retrieve data from IoT Analytics using Android device? Please give me more information.
To be honest, I'm not sure if it is possible. I gave you all those links to help you, because you said you are new with the Edison, and IoT Analytics is very helpful to get into the IoT world.
About your application, I think that the best way to do it is setting the Edison as a Web Server, and connect it with your Android application. Please check this link: https://www.hackster.io/jfrankie/control-remote-led-with-arduino-and-android-a59244. The guide is with Arduino but I think you should do almost the same with your Edison.
I hope you find this useful.
I found the way now. Thank you very much about your help, Leonardo!
